Characteristics
Plants
forming large colonies 1-2 m diam by an extensive system of coarse
branching stolons which give off stout rhizoi-bearing branches below
and foliar branches above; foliar branches flat, short-stalked, reaching
a length of 10-15 cm and a width of 13-22 mm., simple or occasionally
branched, generally regualrly and closely pinnate, the pinnules cylindrical,
a little upcurved, about 180 - 330 µ diam., 3 -11 mm long, the
tips rounded-conical and mucronate.
